The Not-E3 2025 Time Zone Chart
Main Post:
Hope this helps! I've been doing it for years, so it'd be crazy to stop now.
If anything new gets announced, I'll update the chart. You can also go to https://tinyurl.com/notE3chart
Top Comment: I don't mean to undermine your efforts OP, just pointing it out as an alternative that exists: https://2025.gamesrecap.io/ They list every single announcement and every show with a timetable that auto converts to your local time

This is so obviously fake that it's actually funny.
Hey r/Games, with E3 2023 cancelled I wanted to let you know that E3Recap.com is now GamesRecap.io (Live now!)
Main Post:
I'm sure some of you know me from previous years but for those who do not, I created E3Recap.com in 2014 to make it easy to follow all the announcements that would come out of the E3 Expo. I made the website after dealing with my own frustration of having to find clear and simple coverage of announcements/trailers I wanted to see. The website features a card system and each card will provide all the essential info on the game. (genre, release date, trailers shown, showcase)
As many people know, for the past few years E3 has been on the decline and this year has felt like the final nail in the coffin for the Expo. I made a decision to move the site to a new domain and disassociate it from the E3 name. You can find the new website at gamesrecap.io moving forward.
I've made a few small improvements this year aswell:
No More Color Tiles
In previous years, the cards were assigned a color based on the conference/showcase that it was tied to but with the amount of showcases these days, I have removed the color system. As a replacement, each card shows the name of the showcase instead.
Helpful Icons
I've added a bigger variety of icons to the card system to help people see important information more quickly. (Singleplay, Multiplayer, Game Pass, Exclusive and more)
Genre Filter
Probably the most common request I've had for the past couple years but I've finally added a genre filter. I tried my best to come up with a genre list that can encapsulate almost any type of game but if anyone has suggests let me know!
I will be starting coverage with today's PlayStation Showcase and hopefully go all the way through July (GamesCom might be included).
Hope you find it helpful as always.
Top Comment: Looks great as always. You built all of this yourself? What tech stack are you using?

E3, once gaming’s biggest expo, is officially dead - The collapse ends years of attempts to revive the event that once dominated the industry

Top Comment: Yeah it was slowly starting to decline over the years in the late 2010s (especially when Sony actually decided to skip out on E3 for the first time in 2019). Covid just hastened their downfall faster than anyone expected. I’ll still miss it though, nothing was better than a whole week dedicated to the latest gaming info in the summer.
The life and death of E3: The story of the world's most chaotic trade show, told by the people who were there
Main Post: The life and death of E3: The story of the world's most chaotic trade show, told by the people who were there
Top Comment: People who trash E3 are quick to forget that it was about so much more than just the main conferences. All the major gaming outlets had days of content that was actually useful. Tours of the show floor with playable demos of upcoming games, reports of behind-closed-doors demos, IGN/GameSpot etc had a week of nonstop developer interviews and stage demos of every game that was announced. The people making the games actually showed up to answer questions and give insight. Now what do we have? A few live streams of digital showcases and endless videos of YouTubers reacting to them. And that's it. Having an actual physical event for people to attend opened a world of possibilities and insight for gaming outlets. Now they have nothing. I love that SGF is trying to revive what E3 stood for in some format, but it's just not the same, and maybe some of us should've been more grateful for what we had instead of shitting on it year after year for being "too cringe" or whatever. Edit: I'm still buzzed for SGF and I'll be watching all the reactions and discussions from Co-op 64 and Kinda Funny though.

E3 should have never died, it’s the superbowl of gaming
Main Post: E3 should have never died, it’s the superbowl of gaming
Top Comment: ...if the SuperBowl had no sport and was only a series of ads. Honestly, I don't know if it's the age that made me sceptical but I won't miss it. In fact I don't even watch most even live, I prefer to watch the summaries. After all most games announced either are cancelled, or don't appeal to me or are so bad that flop immediately.
